Scottish Liberal Democrats Autumn Conference

Local LibDem Convenor Iain Dale will be leading an Ayrshire LibDem team in attending the Scottish Liberal Democrats Autumn Conference in Dunfermline on Saturday the 14th of October.

Iain commented: "This is an exciting time to be in the Scottish LibDems, with the stunning defeat of Labour in the Dunfermline by-election earlier this year, a good result in the Moray by-election, a number of Council by election triumphs and opinion polls suggesting a greatly increased presence in Holyrood next year."

He added: "This Conference is important as we shall be discussing key issues which affect everyone in Ayrshire. From serious and ant-social crime to discussions of Nicol Stephen's "Bright Future" - a vision for Scotland document, ideas which will add to our considerable achievements for the people of Ayrshire, as part of Government in the Scottish Parliament."
