From Friday the 16th to Sunday the 18th of February the Scottish Liberal Democrats meet together for their Spring Conference.

Ayrshire and Arran Liberal Democrats are sending a team of six representatives to this exciting event. This will be the last time the party meets in Conference before this year's important Council and Scottish Parliament elections.

Local Convener, Iain Dale, who is also Vice Convener of the Scottish Party's Conference Committee said:

"Our team of representatives are looking forward to this Conference particularly because it gives party members the opportunity to shape policy for inclusion in our forthcoming manifesto."

He added: "There is also a fantastic social side to Conference which gives us the chance to meet old friends and make new friends from all across Scotland. We can also exchange campaigning tips and attend a broad spectrum of training and fringe events."
