Nicol Stephen MSP officially launches Ayrshire & Arran Lib Dem website12.00.00am GMT Thu 22nd Feb 2007
Nicol Stephen MSP, Leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats and Deputy First Minister, officially launched the website of the Ayrshire & Arran Liberal Democrats at Scottish Party's Spring Conference last weekend. Mr Stephen commented: "I'm delighted to launch this excellent campaigning and communication tool for the Ayrshire Arran Lib Dems and see it as a first class method of communicating the hard work that the local team are doing in the area." He added: "There has been an upsurge in membership and activity in Ayrshire & Arran in the last few years and I am confident that their hard work will result in Liberal Democrat Councillors being elected in Ayrshire at the forthcoming Council elections, as well as seeing a good increase in our share of the vote across the County." Local Convener, Iain Dale, added: "We are honoured that Nicol was able to officially launch our website. We look forward to this year being a very good one for the Scottish Liberal Democrats and I envisage a bright future for Ayrshire and all of Scotland with the Leadership of Nicol Stephen and the Scottish Liberal Democrats."
